Adventure, mystery and heroes have always fascinated and thrilled Pauline Rowson. That and her love of the sea has led her to create her thrilling range of crime novels set against the atmospheric backdrop of the sea on the South Coast of England.
Pauline Rowson is the author of the contemporary crime novels featuring the flawed and rugged DI Andy Horton. There are now eleven in the DI Andy Horton series of crime novels with the first featuring her detective DI Horton, Tide of Death, published in 2006 and hailed by Amazon as the 'Best of British Crime Fiction.' Following this, in swift succession, were two further stand alone crime novels, In Cold Daylight, which was voted by the public as their third best read in an online poll for World Book Day 2008 and In for the Kill.
DI Andy Horton made his second appearance in Deadly Waters and since then has gone from strength to strength. He now appears in ten crime novels with the eleventh, Shroud of Evil, published in 2014.
Pauline Rowson's crime novels have an International readership and have been translated into several languages including Chinese. They have received critical acclaim in the UK and the USA where they have been given starred reviews.
As well as being a crime author, Pauline is an entertaining and inspirational public speaker and gives many talks about her crime novels and her writing career.
Before becoming a full time writer Pauline Rowson was a renowned marketing and training guru, with a collection of 'how to' business books and a successful marketing, media and training career behind her.
Married to a former fire fighter Pauline lives on the South Coast of England. She is founder of CSI Portsmouth, an annual event part of Portsmouth Bookfest, which brings crime fiction and crime fact together, is a member of the Crime Writers' Association and the Society of Authors.
