International Crime Author Pauline Rowson to return to the North East of England

Pauline RowsonInternational Crime Author Pauline Rowson is to return to the North East of England for the third time in three years to talk to audiences in Newcastle and Hartlepool about her crime novels set in the Solent area on the South Coast of England featuring the flawed and rugged DI Andy Horton.

Pauline Rowson’s Solent based marine mystery novels are published in the UK and the USA by Severn House where they have been highly acclaimed and have been hailed as the Best of British Crime Fiction by American book reviewers. They have also been translated into several languages including Chinese.

There are currently eight in the DI Horton series, two of the latest were published this year, A Killing Coast and Death Lies Beneath, with the ninth Undercurrent to be published in January 2013.  Pauline Rowson is also the author of two thrillers, In For The Kill and In Cold Daylight, which was voted by the British public as one of their favourite top ten reads for World Book Day 2008.

Pauline Rowson will be giving a talk about her crime novels and her writing at Newcastle City Library on Monday 12 November at 6.15pm. Tickets available from City Library on 0191 277 4100. Tickets cost £2.

She will also be appearing in Hartlepool as part of the celebrations of the library’s twenty first anniversary. Pauline Rowson will be at Seaton Carew Library on Tuesday 13 November at 2pm. Tickets cost £2 and are available on 01429 272905.
