Hartlepool beckons again for DI Horton crime author Pauline Rowson

Pauline Rowson Crime AuthorInternational crime author, Pauline Rowson, is returning to Hartlepool for the third time in four years to talk about her popular detective, the flawed and rugged DI Andy Horton whose home patch is Portsmouth on the South Coast of England.

Pauline Rowson first visited Hartlepool in 2010 to give a talk about her marine mystery crime novels on board the restored paddle ship, the PSS Wingfield, in the Hartlepool Maritime Experience Museum. Last year, in November, she spoke to a packed audience at Seaton Carew Library.

Pauline Rowson says, ‘I always enjoy talking to the audiences in Hartlepool who make me very welcome. I'm convinced that I'll either have to get Andy Horton to sail into Hartlepool Marina on holiday or in the  line of an investigation, or I'll have to create a new character for a new crime series and make Hartlepool one of the settings.’

Pauline Rowson will be talking about her crime novels at ThrostonGrange Library, Hartlepool on Thursday 25 April at 10.30am. Tickets cost £3 and are available from: 01429 263199 or e mail throstongrange.library@hartlepool.gov.uk

Ends.
