Undercurrent, latest DI Horton, now published in the USA in hardcover and as an ebook

Undercurrent - DI Andy Horton MysteryUndercurrent, the ninth in the popular marine mystery crime series featuring the flawed and rugged detective DI Horton by Pauline Rowson  has now been published in America in hardcover and has been released internationally as an e book, available on all e readers including, Kindle, Kobo and Nook.

Undercurrent was published in the UK and Commonwealth by Severn House on 30 January 2013.

Set in the Solent area on the South Coast of England the DI Horton series has received critical acclaim both in the UK and the USA where Rowson has been compared to Ed McBain and Joseph Wambaugh, and their British counterparts, including the work of Peter Robinson and John Harvey.  Translation rights to the Horton series have recently been sold to China where they are being published in 2013.

American Reviewer Booklist says, "Andy Horton is an especially good series hero, a likeable fellow with plenty of street smarts and the requisite personal baggage – an abrasive supervisor and an antagonistic soon-to-be ex-wife. Procedural fans who haven’t already read Rowson should be encouraged to do so in the strongest possible terms."

Undercurrent has received reviews from top US book magazines, Publishers Weekly, Kirkus and Booklist.

"As usual, Rowson offers up a thorny, multifaceted plot; a profusion of unusual twists; a likable yet complex hero; and plenty of fast-paced, knuckle-biting action." Booklist

"In British author Rowson’s sturdy ninth policeprocedural featuring Det. Insp. Andy Horton, Rowson successfully pilots the complexstoryline, filled with wild speculations and a slew of suspects, to a fittingconclusion." Publishers Weekly

"Another solid procedural from Rowson, with a little kick of spy stuff for the adventurous." Kirkus.

Readers can leave reviews of Undercurrent and any other crime novels by Pauline Rowson on Amazon. co.uk, Amazon.com and on Goodreads where she has author pages.

Pauline Rowson is also the author of two stand alone thrillers one of which, In Cold Daylight was voted  the third most popular novel in an on line poll for World Book Day 2008. All her crime and thriller novels are available in hardcover, paperback, as e books on Kindle, Nook and Kobo and some are available in Large Print and as Audio Books.
