Pauline Rowson to give a talk about crime writing and her crime novels at Weymouth Library

Crime author, Pauline Rowson will be talking about the inspiration behind her Solent based marine mystery crime series featuring the flawed and rugged Portsmouth copper, DI Andy Horton, and her thrillers, the award winning, In Cold Daylight and In For The Kill at Weymouth Library, Dorset on Wednesday 22 October.

An entertaining and inspirational speaker, Pauline Rowson will talk about how she plans, plots and writes her crime novels. This will be followed by a Q & A session and book signing.

The highly acclaimed DI Andy Horton series is set against the atmospheric backdrop of the sea in the Solent area on the South Coast of England. Horton's patch is Portsmouth CID. The series has received glowing reviews in the UK, Commonwealth and the USA where Rowson's novels have been hailed as 'multi layered, twisted and complex,' and likened to the novels of Peter Robinson, John Harvey and Ed McBain.

Pauline Rowson lives in Hampshire and has been long listed for the Dagger in the Library Award and her thriller, In Cold Daylight was voted the third most popular novel for World Book Day 2008. Her novels have been translated into several languages.
