Competition launched by Severn House to win a copy of Pauline Rowson's latest crime novel Silent Running

Silent Running an Art Marvik crime novel by Pauline RowsonTo mark the forthcoming release of the latest crime novel by Pauline Rowson in e book and as a hardcover in the USA Severn House Publishers are giving away five e books of Pauline Rowson's  Silent Running in an online competition.

Silent Running the explosive marine crime novel by Pauline Rowson has already been published by Severn House in hardcover in the UK and on 1 July is published in the States and released as an e book.  Silent Running introduces former marine commando, Special Boat Services Officer, Art Marvik in a new series set against the marine landscape of the South Coast of England. 

The competition question is centred around the name of the dog mentioned in Silent Running and there are clues to help the reader.  The competition runs from 22 June to 20 July 2015 and is free to enter.

Pauline Rowson is the author of thirteen crime novels, eleven in the DI Andy Horton series. Her work has received critical acclaim in the UK, USA and Commonwealth where her novels have been hailed as "exemplary police procedurals”, "cleverly plotted, complex and multi-layered.” Her novels have also been translated into several languages and the DI Andy Horton crime novels have been optioned by top UK television production company Lime Pictures, who are seeking to bring the enigmatic sailing detective to TV screens.

Pauline Rowson lives in Hampshire and has been long listed for the Dagger in the Library Award and her thriller, In Cold Daylight was voted the third most popular novel for World Book Day 2008.
