Tide of Death - the first in the DI Andy Horton Series by Pauline Rowson

Tide of Death, the first to feature the rugged and flawed Portsmouth copper, DI Andy Horton, is on special promotion on Kobo from 7 April to 14 April.

Tide of Death was chosen by Amazon as the Best of Crime Fiction when it was first published in 2006.  There are twelve in the DI Andy Horton which has been hailed in both the UK and the USA as "exemplary police procedurals," "gripping" and "complex" with a "likeable and all to human hero."'

The DI Horton series has also been optioned by one of the UK's leading television production companies, Lime Pictures, who are seeking to bring the enigmatic detective to the TV screens.

Set against the atmospheric backdrop of the sea in the Solent area of Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight on the South Coast of England, Pauline Rowson has been hailed as "redefining the genre of  the police drama”. Her cops are tough yet fallible.
