Silent Running, the first in the Art Marvik marine crime series, now published in paperback

Silent Running  sees the former Royal Marine Commando, Art Marvik, enlisted to work undercover for the National Intelligence Marine Squad (NIMS)  to solve a crime that spans the decades.  Set against the marine landscape of the South Coast of England, Marvik finds himself  embroiled in a dangerous assignment that will need all his skills, and those of his friend, former Royal Marine Special Forces Communicator, Shaun Strathen, to get to the truth. Their mission, to stop a ruthless killer before he kills again.

Pauline Rowson is the author of fourteen crime novels, twelve in the DI Andy Horton series which has recently been optioned by top UK production company, Lime Pictures, who are seeking to bring the enigmatic sailing detective to the TV screens.   Her novels have received critical acclaim in the UK, USA and Commonwealth where they have been hailed as "exemplary police procedurals”, "cleverly plotted, complex and multi-layered.” Her novels have also been translated into several languages.
