Internationally acclaimed, Pauline is the author of eighteen crime novels set against the backdrop of the ever-changing sea on the South Coast of England. 

Pauline Rowson will entertain the audience with tales of the inspiration behind her crime novels and how she plots, researches and writes them.

She is author of thirteen crime novels in the police procedural series featuring the flawed and rugged Portsmouth detective, Inspector Andy Horton and three in the marine mystery series featuring former Royal Marine Commando, Art Marvik, who now works as an undercover investigator for the UK's National Intelligence Marine Squad (NIMS).  In addition she has written two standalone crime novels.

Her crime novels are published in the UK, USA and the Commonwealth and have been translated into several languages.  They have been hailed as "the Best of British Crime Fiction,"  "action-packed," "gripping," "fast-paced," "multi-layered" and 'intricately plotted" with a "diverse range of intriguing characters".
