Fatal Catch published in paperback by Harlequin USA

Fatal Catch, Inspector Andy Horton Mystery Harlequin USAPauline Rowson's Inspector Andy Horton crime novel Fatal Catch is now published in mass market paperback worldwide by Harlequin Books USA (1 September 2018).  Harlequin Book Club members will receive their copy this month before it goes on general sale in October 2018.  Readers can join the Harlequin Books Mystery Club Library.

Fatal Catch is the twelfth in the Inspector Andy Horton police procedural crime series of which there are currently thirteen, with number 14, Dead Passage, being published in October 2018. The mysteries are set against the atmospheric backdrop of the sea in the Solent area of England in Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight and have been critically acclaimed both in the UK and in America.

Hailed as "exemplary," "multi-layered" and "cleverly plotted" DI Andy Horton has been described as an "especially good series hero, a likeable fellow with plenty of street smarts and the requisite personal baggage" by US reviewer Booklist.

Pauline Rowson says, 'Detective Inspector Andy Horton is an instinctive copper rather than an intellectual one, tough and resilient, but deeply empathetic.  His greatest strength is his ability to put himself in a victim’s shoes, to imagine events from their perspective (even the moments up to their death), making leaps of deduction few would be able to. And he’s most often right. I'm thrilled that Harlequin US are publishing this Inspector Horton crime novel.'

Pauline Rowson is also the author of three Art Marvik mysteries, and two standalone thrillers, the award winning, In Cold Daylight and In For the Kill. She lives on the south coast of England.

The Inspector Andy Horton crime novels have been optioned by top UK production company Lime Pictures who are seeking to bring the enigmatic detective to the television screens.
