Pauline Rowson brings tales of murder and mystery to the Square Tower

Old Portsmouth WI Pauline Rowson talking about her crime novelsThe Square Tower in Portsmouth was the setting for murder and mystery as crime author Pauline Rowson entertained members of Old Portsmouth Women's Institute on Thursday 4 October 2018. 

Built in 1494 during the reign of Henry VII, the Square Tower, part of the ancient fortifications built to protect the rapidly expanding naval port of Portsmouth had plenty of atmosphere to add to Pauline's entertaining talk and was of significance to the audience as many of Pauline's Portsmouth based DI Andy Horton crime novels feature the fortifications including the latest in the DI Andy Horton series (14) DEAD PASSAGE.

Old Portsmouth WI crime author Pauline Rowson entertaining membersPauline explained to the audience how she crafts her crime novels of which there are now nineteen published.  Along with the fourteen in the DI Andy Horton crime series, Pauline is the author of the mystery thrillers featuring undercover investigator and former Royal Marine Commando, Art Marvik (3) and two standalone thrillers.

After her talk there was a question and answer session followed by a book signing.
