Book reviews

I've been fortunate enough to have some great reviews from websites and reviewers in the UK, USA and Commonwealth for my crime novels and it's always rewarding when a reader takes the time to tell me how much they have enjoyed reading my crime novels. One such reader recently put on Facebook that her New Year resolution was to read again the complete DI Andy Horton series from beginning to the latest one. Now that's nice.

Recommendation and leaving a review on one of the book websites such as Amazon, or sharing it on social media via Facebook or Twitter for example is a great way to spread the news about a good book so if you've enjoyed reading any of my crime novels I'd be delighted if you could take the time to leave a review.

For those of you who have already done so, or e mailed or written to me to say how much you enjoy reading my crime novels, many thanks.

Shroud of Evil - DI Andy Horton Crime Novel DI Andy Horton- Shroud of Evil - is the latest in the series, published in the UK and  USA in August 2014.

Detective Inspector Horton of Portsmouth CID is assigned the case of a missing person: Jasper Kenton, a private investigator.  When Kenton's car turns up,and a shocking discovery is made, Horton finds himself embroiled in an investigation that has major personal ramifications, and one in which he has no choice but to withhold vital information. As he struggles to crack the case, he knows it is only a question of time before someone discovers he’s kept silent, and when that’s revealed, his part in hindering a major investigation will end his career . . .

My books are available in paperback, as ebooks, and on Kindle. Some are also available in hardback, in large print and as audio books.  They can be bought from any bookshop in the UK and USA and are available on loan from libraries in the UK, USA and Commonwealth.

My crime novels include two standalone thrillers, the award winning, In Cold Daylight, and In For The Kill and eleven novels in the popular marine mystery police procedural DI Andy Horton series, set against the atmospheric backdrop of the every changing sea on the South Coast of England, in Portsmouth and on the Isle of Wight.

And coming soon a brand new hero in a brand new series - former marine commando, special boat services officer Art Marvik in Silent Running  to be published in March 2015.
