Pauline Rowson talking to Julian Clegg BBC Radio SolentPauline Rowson was talking to Julian Clegg on the BBC Radio Solent Breakfast Show on Tuesday 7 March about the latest Andy Horton detective novel, Lethal Waves, published in hardcover in the UK on the 28 February 2017

Lethal Waves is number thirteen in the Horton police procedural series. The Andy Horton crime novels are set in the Solent area with Horton's patch being Portsmouth CID and his investigations often taking him across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.

Portsmouth Coppers with Pauline Rowson and Graham Hurley a resounding success


Portsmouth Coppers audience with Pauline Rowson, Diana Bretherick and Graham HurleyNearly ninety people turned out for Portsmouth Coppers at Portsmouth Central Library on Saturday 4 March where crime authors Pauline Rowson and Graham Hurley were quizzed by fellow crime author and former criminal barrister Diana Bretherwick about why they set their detective novels in the waterfront city of Portsmouth.

Portsmouth Coppers was part of Portsmouth BookFest organised by Portsmouth City Library Service and supported by the Hayling Island Bookshop.

Pauline Rowson will be talking to Julian Clegg on the BBC Radio Solent Breakfast Show on Tuesday 7 March at approximately 7.50am about the latest Andy Horton detective novel, Lethal Waves, number 13 in the series, published in the UK on 28 February 2017, and about her crime writing.

DI Andy Horton crime novel, Lethal Waves, launched on board Condor Ferries


Pauline Rowson with Lethal Waves on quayside by Commodore Clipper Crime author, Pauline Rowson paid a special visit to Condor Ferries to celebrate the release of her latest novel, Lethal Waves, which features one of Condor's fleet, Commodore Clipper.

Pauline visited the Captain and crew of Commodore Clipper in Portsmouth International Port, which included an exclusive trip up to the Captain's Bridge.

Condor's conventional ferry, Commodore Clipper that sails from Portsmouth to the Channel Islands, plays a key role in the new crime thriller novel, acting as a scene for one of the book's unfortunate bereavements, although this one is not thought to be suspicious.
