MAY 20TH, 2013China buy translation rights to another DI Andy Horton Mystery Crime Novel by Pauline Rowson
China have bought the translation rights to another in the DI Andy Horton mystery crime series.Just days ahead of the London Book Fair 2013, translation rights were sold to China for the latest in the popular Solent based mystery crime series, featuring the flawed and rugged DI Andy Horton, by British author Pauline Rowson, Undercurrent.
Nanhai Publishing Company of Haikou has now bought translation rights to eight novels in the DI Horton series which are published in the UK and USA by Severn House.
Deadly Waters, the second in the Horton series, The Suffocating Sea, Dead Man's Wharf and Blood on the Sand have been published in China this year.

Pauline Rowson to appear at Chichester Festival with Simon Brett and Peter Lovesey
Pauline Rowson, author of the popular DI Andy Horton mystery crime series set in the Solent area on the South Coast of England, will be appearing at the Festival of Chichester with crime writers Peter Lovesey and Simon Brett both of whom she has appeared with before at CSI Portsmouth an annual event that brings crime fiction and fact together.Under Interrogation will provide a lively evening’s entertainment and give the the audience the chance to grill the authors on the subject of their writing, characters, research, experiences and much more.

Undercurrent, latest DI Horton, now published in the USA in hardcover and as an ebook
Undercurrent, the ninth in the popular marine mystery crime series featuring the flawed and rugged detective DI Horton has now been published in America in hardcover and has been released internationally as an e book, available on all e readers including, Kindle, Kobo and Nook.Undercurrent was published in the UK and Commonwealth by Severn House on 30 January 2013.
Set in the Solent area on the South Coast of England the DI Horton series has received critical acclaim both in the UK and the USA where Rowson has been compared to Ed McBain and Joseph Wambaugh, and their British counterparts, including the work of Peter Robinson and John Harvey. Translation rights to the Horton series have recently been sold to China where they are being published in 2013.
