All the world's a stage - before Covid 19 - a packed audience at Romsey
Ah, a thing of the past this sight - because of the dreaded Covid-19 - but once that is behind us (and hopefully it will be and soon) then this kind of audience will return. It would be nice to rub shoulders with friends and strangers again! Here on a hot July day in 2015 I was delighted to give a talk to over 120 people who packed the auditorium at Crosfield Hall in Romsey to hear how I write my crime novels which are set on the South Coast of England.
On 15 July 2015 the lovely audience listened enraptured as I entertained them with anecdotes about my crime writing, where and how I get my inspiration, how I develop plot lines and create characters for my 21 published crime novels.
My crime novels have ben described as 'compelling,' 'cleverly plotted,' 'gripping' and 'full of twists and turns'.
My talk was followed by a lively Question and Answer session and a book signing.
The audience were great and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to them. It's always great to meet existing readers and lovely to introduce my novels to new readers.
Looking forward to the days when I can do this again.

Since this talk took place I also have a new hero on the block, Scotland Yard's Inspector Ryga who is sent out to solve coastal crimes. His first is on the Isle of Portland, Dorset when the body of a man in a pin-striped suit is found dead on Church Ope Cove - DEATH IN THE COVE. available to pre-order. Like the first in the series it is also available as an audio book.
In DEATH IN THE HARBOUR, Ryga is sent to Newhaven, East Sussex to unravel the mystery of why an ordinary police constable was murdered and his wife has gone missing.
In addition to the above there are three mystery thrillers in the Art Marvik series, the former Royal Marine Commando now an undercover investigator for the UK's National Intelligence Marine Squad.
"Fans of Rowson’s DI Andy Horton books will be delighted with her new series featuring former marine commando Art Marvik.A tense, terrifying thrill ride that twists and turns with dizzying speed, combined with a likable, smart, tough, but all too human hero, make this a cracking-good new series—action fans need Marvik on their radar." Booklist on SILENT RUNNING.
The ART MARVIK series of mystery thrillers will be simultaneous published in paperback and ebook, on Kindle, Kobo, Apple Books and Google on 14 September 2020 - Available to pre-order
My crime novels have been highly acclaimed and translated into several languages. Multi layered and complex, they contain compelling crimes, diverse characters and are full of twists and turns all played out against the dramatic and powerfully evocative British marine landscape of the south coast of England.
