DI Andy Horton, Shroud of Evil, now published in Large Print

The DI Andy Horton crime novels are set against the atmospheric backdrop of the sea in the Solent area of Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight on the South Coast of England where Pauline Rowson lives. They have been hailed as "compelling," "multi-layered and complex" "a great read for mystery lovers".

In Shroud of Evil Horton is assigned what appears to be a trivial case of a missing person, private investigator Jasper Kenton, who he believes has absconded with a client 's money but when Kenton turns up dead all that changes. What's more the case has some surprising personal ramifications for Horton which forces him to withhold vital information. As he struggles to crack the case, he knows it is only a question of time before someone discovers he’s kept silent and when that’s revealed, his part in hindering a major investigation could end his career.

Pauline Rowson is author of twelve novels in the DI Andy Horton series, two standalone crime novels and a new marine crime series, featuring former Royal Marine Commando, SBS officer Art Marvik in Silent Running published by Severn House in 2015. Fatal Catch the twelfth in the popular DI Andy Horton crime series by Pauline Rowson has been published in the UK in hardcover by Severn House Publishers (28 September 2015) and in the USA on the 1 January 2016. It was also published as an ebook on 20 December 2015.
