Severn House buy World English Language Rights to third in the Art Marvik Marine Crime Series by Pauline Rowson

Severn HousePublishers has bought World English language rights to the third inthe series of marine crime novels by Pauline Rowson which features undercover marine investigator, Art Marvik, a former Royal Marine Commando, Special Boat Services Officer.  Lost Voyage is to be published in July 2017.

In addition to the Art Marvik crime series, Pauline Rowson is author of the popular mystery novels featuring the flawed and rugged Portsmouth based detective Andy Horton also published by Severn House. Lethal Waves, the thirteenth in the Horton series, is to be published in the UK on 28 February 2017 and in the USA on 1 June 2017. The Andy Horton crime novels have been optioned by top UK production company, Lime Pictures, who are seeking to bring the enigmatic sailing detective to the TV screens.

The first in the Art Marvik series Silent Running  has been hailed as 'A tense, terrifying thrill ride that twists and turns withdizzying speed,' while Kirkus Reviews say of the  second, Dangerous Cargo, 'Marvik's second outing is even more muscular than his debut,  as Rowson edges her detective puzzles ever closer to thriller territory.'

The hallmark of Rowson's fast-paced crime novels is the marine setting and atmosphere, interesting and diverse characters,intricate, complex plots and plenty of action

She is author of seventeen crime novels and has been longlisted for the Dagger in the Library Award and her thriller, In Cold Daylight was voted the third most popular novel for World Book Day2008.
