Four DI Andy Horton mysteries re-released on Kindle and Kobo

DI Andy Horton MysteriesPauline Rowson's Inspector Andy Horton mystery crime novels, A KILLING COAST (7) DEATH LIES BENEATH (8), UNDERCURRENT (9) and DEATH SURGE (10) have all been re-released on Amazon Kindle and on Kobo. They are also  available in paperback and as unabridged audio books.

There are fourteen in the DI Andy Horton series with DEAD PASSAGE, (14), having been published in paperback and as an ebook in October 2018.

The Inspector Andy Horton crime series, set against the atmospheric backdrop of the sea in the Solent area of England in Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight, have been hailed in UK, USA and Commonwealth as "exemplary," "multi-layered" and "cleverly plotted" with reviewer, Booklist, claiming that Andy Horton is an "especially good series hero, a likeable fellow with plenty of street smarts and the requisite personal baggage"

Pauline RowsonPauline Rowson says, 'Detective Inspector Andy Horton is a man very much defined by a tormented past spent primarily in care when his mother disappeared when he was ten. He is an instinctive copper rather than an intellectual one, tough and resilient, but deeply empathetic.

His greatest strength is his ability to put himself in a victim’s shoes, to imagine events from their perspective (even the moments up to their death), making leaps of deduction few would be able to. And he’s most often right.'

Pauline Rowson's Portsmouth-set mystery plots are inventive and exciting, gripping but not gruesome, and full of thrilling twists and turns. Her novels combine character-driven, emotional punch with the scale and complexity of plotting.

Pauline Rowson is the author of twenty crime novels - fourteen featuring the rugged and flawed Portsmouth detective, Inspector Andy Horton; three in the mystery thriller series featuring Art Marvik, the troubled former Royal Marine Commando now an undercover investigator for the UK's National Intelligence Marine Squad (NIMS),  two standalone thrillers, the award winning, IN COLD DAYLIGHT and IN FOR THE KILL and the 1950 set crime novel DEATH IN THE COVE introducing Scotland Yard detective, Inspector Alun Ryga.
