Murder at Mayfair with crime author Pauline Rowson


Pauline Rowson how she writes her mystery crime novelsNo not the name of a new mystery by Pauline Rowson and not in London but at an hotel in Bournemouth on the south coast of England where crime author, Pauline Rowson entertained members of  Central Bournemouth Probus Club on Tuesday 19 November  with tales of her crime busting heroes.

The flawed and rugged DI Andy Horton, whose patch is Portsmouth, features in 14 crime novels; her undercover investigator, Art Marvik a former Royal Marine Commando in 3 mystery thrillers, and her new fictional sleuth, Scotland Yard detective, Inspector Ryga is introduced in the first of a new 1950 set mystery series, DEATH IN THE COVE.  Pauline is also the author of two standalone thrillers, IN COLD DAYLIGHT and IN FOR THE KILL.

Hailed in the UK, USA and Commonwealth as the "Best of British crime fiction" "A good read for mystery lovers," "gripping, compelling and full of twists and turns," Pauline Rowson's crime novels are all set against the backdrop of the ever changing sea on the south coast of England.

Following her talk there was a lively question and answer session and a book signing. Pauline Rowson says, 'It was a pleasure to entertain members of Central Bournemouth Probus Club.'
