Book Signing on the Bridge of Wightlink Ferry

Pauline Rowson signing for Captain Paul Marshall on Wightlink FerryA step back in time! On this day in 2012 (7 September) I was delighted to be on board the St Claire Wightlink car ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne signing copies of one of my DI Andy Horton crime novels for the Captains. The DI Andy Horton novels are set in Portsmouth and the isle of Wight and my characters often travel across the Solent on the Wightlink Ferries or the Hovercraft.

Death Lies Beneath a DI Andy Horton MysteryDeath Lies Beneath, is number eight the mystery series (15) featuring the flawed and rugged detective, DI Andy Horton.  It is set in Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight and is dedicated to the Captains and crew of the Wightlink ferry service between Portsmouth and Fishbourne.

A body found on a rotting boat being salvaged in Portsmouth Harbour throws Horton into a complex and frustrating investigation. As the tension mounts to solve the case, Horton receives a chilling message; time, it seems, is also running out for him personally…

"A treat for fans of the puzzle-box mystery." Kirkus Reviews

Pauline Rowson and Captain Paul MarshallThe dedication is  made specifically to Captains John Monk and Paul Marshall who have helped me with the research for my crime novels.
