Pauline Rowson entertains the audience at Waterlooville Library

Waterlooville Library- Pauline Rowson talking about her crime busting heroesOn 3 February  2017 I was delighted to be entertaining the audience at Waterlooville Library, Hampshire with tales of my fictional heroes, Inspector Andy Horton and Art Marvik.

Events like these sadly stopped in March 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the banning of all social gatherings. I know many people are missing them and I am missing entertaining the lovely audiences. In the meantime I amlooking back at some I have conducted over the years

Waterlooville Library- Pauline Rowson explaining how she plots her crime novelsI talked about how I plot,  research and write my  crime novels set on the South Coast of England. This was followed by a question and answer session and a book signing.

My crime novels have been hailed as "compelling," "multi-layered and complex" "a great read for mystery lovers".

Since this talk took place in addition to fifteen in the Inspector Andy Horton series, there are four in the Marvik mystery thriller series - Marvik is an undercover investigator for the UK's Police Marine Intelligence Squad - and there are two in my 1950s set mystery series featuring Scotland Yard Inspector Ryga who is sent out to investigate baffling crimes in DEATH IN THE COVE (the Isle of Portland, Dorset) and DEATH IN THE HARBOUR ( Newhaven, East Sussex) with number three in the series DEATH IN THE NETS (Brixham, Devon) to be published in October 2021.

Waterlooville Library- Pauline Rowson signing copies of her crime novelsIt was lovely to meet readers at Waterlooville Library. They were a great audience and I enjoyed  discussing my heroes adventures with them.

There are no talks for me booked this year, 2021, at the present although I have been asked if I might be available to speak later in 2021 and I would be delighted to. Can't wait in fact.  I am sincerely hoping that we can soon resume these events.

If you would like me to speak to your organisation, company or library please feel free to
contact me.

You can subscribe to my monthly newsletter for book updates, talks, videos and more.
