Crime authors who have appeared at CSI Portsmouth include: Mark Billingham,Simon Brett, Stephen Booth, Sharon Bolton, Ann Cleeves, Graham Hurley, John Harvey, Matt Hilton, June Hampson, Natasha Cooper Michael Ridpath, Peter Lovesey, Pauline Rowson and Kerry Wilkinson.
Crime experts have included members from Hampshire police major crime team, fire investigation officers, scene of crime officers, the hi-tech unit, fingerprint bureau, marine police, drugs squad, as well as a forensic toxicologist and a forensic psychologist and experts from the Universities of Portsmouth and Surrey on fraud and stalking.
