What's on in April

Undercurrent a DI Andy Horton Police ProcedureI'm delighted to announce that April see the release of two of my crime novels in new formats, Undercurrent, the ninth in the DI Andy Horton police procedural series is to be published as an unabridged audio book on 1 April, while Silent Running, the first in the series featuring former Royal Marine Commando, Special Boat Services officer Art Marvik will be published in paperback.

The audio book of Undercurrent, is being published by Soundings part of Isis Publishing, the World’s leading publisher of unabridged audio books.

Naval historian Dr Douglas Spalding is found dead in Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard. It looks like suicide but Horton goes out on a limb to prove otherwise. Soon he's embroiled in a cover up at the highest level. Booklist USA says, 'Rowson offers up a thorny, multifaceted plot; a profusion of unusual twists; a likable yet complex hero; and plenty of fast-paced, knuckle-biting action.'

Soundings have already released seven unabridged audio books in the DI Andy Horton mystery crime series: Deadly Waters, The Suffocating Sea, Dead Man’s WharfBlood on the Sand,  Footsteps on the Shore, A Killing Coast and Death Lies Beneath. They are narrated by Gordon Griffin and available in CD, cassette and MP3 CD format.

Silent Running an Art Marvik marine mystery crime novel by Pauline RowsonSilent Running was published in hardcover and as an ebook by Severn House in 2015. Adrift after leaving the marines, Marvik finds himself being used as bait to catch a ruthless killer whose slaying spree spans the decades. It's a mission that will put all his skills and training to the test- a dangerous assignment that could cost him his life.

Reviewers have hailed Silent Running as ' A tense, terrifying thrill ride that twists and turns with dizzying speed, combined with a likable, smart, tough, but all too human hero, make this a cracking-good new series—action fans need Marvik on their radar." Booklist (USA)
