Pauline Rowson's crime novels for 2016 and 2017

2016 and 2017 sees the publication of two new crime novels, two in the DI Andy Horton police procedural series and two in the marine crime thriller  series, featuring marine investigator, Art Marvik. I'm also delighted that many of my previous novels will be published in new formats, including unabridged audio books, ebooks and in paperback.

Here is a round up of them.

Fatal Catch- A DI Andy Horton crime novel by Pauline Rowson

January 2016 kicked off with Fatal Catch, the twelfth in the DI Andy Horton police procedural series being published in hardcover in the USA and being released as an e book.  Fatal Catch is also published in hardcover and as an ebook in the UK.

'Plenty of red herrings and a surprising culprit. Series fans will appreciate additional clues about the unsolved murder of Horton’s mother, Jennifer, more than 30 years earlier.' Publishers Weekly

Undercurrent in audio bookApril 2016 saw the release of Undercurrent,  the tenth in the DI Andy Horton series, as an unabridged audio book, narrated by the fabulous Gordon Griffin and published by Soundings.

Undercurrent is also available in paperback and as an ebook on Amazon Kindle and Kobo.

Silent Running an Art Marvik Marine Crime Novel by Pauline RowsonAlso in April  2016 the first in the marine crime thriller series to feature former Royal Marine Commando Art Marvik, newly attached to work undercover for the National Intelligence Marine Squad (NIMS) was published in paperback in the UK, USA and Commonwealth

Silent Running  is also available as an e book on Amazon Kindle and Kobo, and in hardcover and Large Print.
In July 2016 Silent Running will be released as an unabridged audio book.

Dangerous Cargo, the second in the Art Marvik marine crime seriesOn 31st May 2016 Dangerous Cargo, the second fast-paced marine based crime novel featuring marine investigator, Art Marvik is published in hardcover in the UK.

For his second mission for the National Intelligence Marine Squad (NIMS) Marvik is detailed to attend the funeral of a man who’d officially been declared dead fifty-five years earlier. So who is the imposter and why did he assume the name of a dead man and show up in a Dorset coastal town in 1989, hook up with a local fishing family, and after fathering a child, disappear in 1990? Marvik begins to uncover a trail of deceit, corruption and murder that spans over half a century, and a ruthless killer who will stop at nothing to make sure that the sins of the past stay in the past.

September 1st sees Dangerous Cargo published in hardcover in the USA and as an ebook on Kindle and Kobo Worldwide, published by Severn House.

Fatal Catch, a DI Andy Horton Police Procedural Crime Novel by Pauline RowsonIn October 2016,  Fatal Catch will be published in paperback and Large Print.  It is currently available in  hardcover, and as an ebook on Amazon Kindle and Kobo.

Detective Inspector Andy Horton is called out to examine a gruesome catch by two fishermen: a human hand. Is it that of missing violent criminal Alfie Wright – or is he the killer? And where is the rest of the corpse? Soon Horton finds himself immersed in a complex case where everyone has a reason to lie and no one is who they seem. Assailed by doubts both in his personal and professional life, Horton desperately tries to keep his emotional feelings under control and his focus on his work. His instincts tell him to trust no one and believe nothing; he’s not sure though whether this time he’ll succeed.

Then in February 2017 Lethal Waves, the NEW DI Andy Horton, number 13 in the series, will be published in hardcover in the UK.

I’m currently working on the third Art Marvik marine crime novel and I've finished writing the fourteenth in the DI Andy Horton crime series.

The DI Andy Horton crime novels have been optioned for TV by top UK television production company, Lime Pictures, who are seeking to bring the enigmatic sailing detective to the television screens.
