What's on in March 2020

March sees the re-issue of one of the DI Andy Horton mysteries, FATAL CATCH (12) on Kindle and on 8 April 2020 it will be available in other e book formats and in paperback, as will SHROUD OF EVIL (13).  A DEADLY WAKE, the new DI Andy Horton, number 15 in the series is also now available for pre-order both from your local bookshop and on Amazon Kindle and paperback.

On the writing front

1950s set mystery series by Pauline RowsonI'll be continuing to write number three in my 1950 set mystery series featuring my thoughtful detective, Inspector Alun Ryga, who is accompanied in his investigations by the forthright and talented former war photographer, Eva Paisley. I'm delighted to say that the first in the series, DEATH IN THE COVE has been very well received and that number two in the Ryga series, DEATH IN THE HARBOUR, will be published later this year (2020). More about that to follow.

Talks and events

On 3 March I'll be giving a talk to members of Alverstoke Women's Institute about the secrets of successful crime writing and how I plot, research and write my crime novels.

Then at the end of the March I'll be taking part in another CSI event, this time CSI Winchester with fellow crime author Graham Hurley.

CSI Winchester Saturday 28 March 2020

Winchester Discovery Centre 10am – 12.30pm

Graham and I will be debating crime fiction and crime fact with crime experts Carolyn Lovell, Research and Development Manager Forensic Capability Network, and Detective Superintendent Mandy Horsburgh of Hampshire Police. Also present will be the team from the Hampshire Fingerprint Bureau.

I hope that some of you can join us.  There will be the chance for the audience to put their questions to the panel followed by a book signing. More details and ticket information here.
