A great U3A audience at Woolmer Forest for crime busting tales

Pauline Rowson talking about her crime novels at Woolmer Forest U3A In the absence of being able to give any talks in 2020 because of the Coronavirus pandemic I'm taking a look back month by month at the talks I've given to many audiences over the last few years.

On 16 September 2013 it was the turn of Woolmer Forest U3A to listen to me when I gave a talk about the inspiration behind my crime novels many featuring the rugged and flawed detective, DI Andy Horton, who appears in fifteen crime novels (2020).

I explained how I research and write my mystery thrillers, how I develop the plots and create the characters.  The lovely audience asked lots of questions at the end of my fifty minute talk, in fact so many that we had to cut it short otherwise they would have had no time for tea and cake! I was also delighted to sign many copies of my crime novels.

U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.

Pauline Rowson talking to U3A audience U3As are always a lovely audience and I'm honoured to have given so many talks to members of this great organisation.

I sincerely hope that my talks can resume in 2021.

If you would like me to speak to your organisation, company or library please contact me.
