What's on in December 2020 for Pauline Rowson

December gives me the chance to look back on the year, albeit a traumatic one and a not very happy one for many people with a worldwide pandemic and all its terrible consequences.  There are words we'd never heard of before (or at the least would never have dreamed they'd come into every day use): lock down, social bubbles, uptick, social distancing, self isolation, mass testing, track and trace ... no, I needn't go on you've heard them all before and many times.

With libraries closed and all social gatherings suspended from March 2020 there were no opportunities for people to get together in these formats and therefore no talks for me and no more meeting so many lovely readers. I've missed it.

Handshakes and hugs are forbidden, many people are losing their job, the economy is in a bad way but enough gloom and doom, let's look for the sunshine and hope it, and the cavalry, arrive soon in the form of an effective vaccine/s which is looking possible as I write this. So fingers and everything crossed.

DI Andy Horton A DEADLY WAKE by Pauline RowsonI've put together a video of the highlights of 2020 which will be posted on here in December.  And yes there have been some lovely moments.  In 2020 two of my crime novels were published DI Andy Horton 16 A DEADLY WAKE and the second Inspector Ryga 1950 set mystery DEATH IN THE HARBOUR.

This year's video is also a little different from the usual to reflect these challenging times and I hope that when you watch it it will make you smile.  It will also be posted on my You Tube Channel.  There are lots of videos on my You Tube Channel and they are continually updated with new ones, so if you haven't subscribed yet then please do so.

Four of my crime novels are set in December, so I will be featuring these: DI Andy Horton in THE SUFFOCATING SEA, FATAL CATCH, Inspector Ryga in DEATH IN THE HARBOUR and my standalone thriller IN COLD DAYLIGHT.

In December I'll  be working on the final revisions to Inspector Ryga 3 to be published in autumn 2021.  Then it is onward with DI Andy Horton 16, no I can't leave him alone.

I'll finish by asking if you have read and enjoyed my crime novels then please, if you have time, leave a review or rating on Amazon or the appropriate booksellers website.

Many thanks.
