Tragic deaths in a badly written novel

Tragic deaths in a badly written novel, cartoon by Tom GauldThis brilliant cartoon by Tom Gauld could not express writing more succinctly or humorously.  Please click on the image to enlarge it and read the fabulous captions.

I came across it on Twitter when fellow author Linda Huber @LindaHuber19 tweeted it. I contacted the artist, Tom Gauld, and asked if I could reproduce it on my blogs and he generously gave permission.  I hope readers, and writers enjoy it.  (I often feel like I'm falling down the plot holes!!)

Do check out Tom Gauld's website to see many of his brilliant cartoons not just about writing but many topical subjects. You can also follow him on Twitter @tomgauld
