She talks about the secrets of successful crime writing; how she plots, researches and writes her internationally acclaimed mystery novels; and the inspiration behind her fictional sleuths - DI Andy Horton (14), Art Marvik(3) and her 1950 set Scotland Yard detective, Inspector Ryga in DEATH IN THE COVE. 

Pauline is a very entertaining, inspiring and much-in-demand speaker. She gives talks to many organisations, including U3As, Womens Institutes, Probus Clubs, charities, retirement associations, libraries and others.

Huge turnout for Pauline RowsonCrime author, Pauline Rowson entertained over one hundred and forty people at Waterlooville U3A on 22 January 2020 with tales of her fictional sleuths, the enigmatic DI Andy Horton who features in fourteen novels, undercover investigator, former Royal Marine Commando, Art Marvik who currently appears in three mystery thriller novels and her new hero, Inspector Alun Ryga who is introduced in the first of her new 1950 set mystery series, DEATH IN THE COVE.

Crime authors Pauline Rowson and Graham Hurley will be debating crime fiction and crime fact with crime experts Carolyn Lovell, Research and Development Manager Forensic Capability Network, and Detective Superintendent Mandy Horsburgh of Hampshire Police. Also present will be the team from the Hampshire Fingerprint Bureau.  Talk to the crime authors and crime experts and put your questions to the panel followed by a book signing.
