Pauline Rowson was a keynote speaker at Creative Portsmouth
Collaborative Event, talking about the inspiration behind her crime
novels and how the discovery of her local library in Portsmouth as a
child inspired her passion for reading and writing and her ambition to
become an author.
12 March 2019 Hamble Valley U3A
Pauline talked to members of Hamble Valley U3A about how she plots,
researches and writes her popular crime novels set on the south coast
of England.
Two
special guests attended a talk by Pauline Rowson at Fareham Library on
17 May as part of the Crime Writers' Association National Crime Reading
Month. Pauline was joined by two Guide Dogs for the blind (and their
owners) as she talked about her crime novels and her crime busting
fictional heroes, DI Andy Horton, her undercover investigator, Art
Marvik and her new 1950 detective, Inspector Alun Ryga.

novels and how she researches, plots and writes them.Pauline entertained members of Westbourne WI and spoke about how
she constructs her crime novels and the inspiration behind her DI Andy
Horton mystery series and her new 1950s set mysteries featuring Scotland
Yard detective, Inspector Alun Ryga.

Pauline gave a lively and informative talk to the audience at St
Anne's Fellowship, Hampshire on the inspiration behind her crime novels
and how she plots, researches and writes them.
Pauline Rowson thrilled the audience at Lockswood Library,
Locksheath, Southampton with tales of murder and
mystery and talked about the creation of her fictional sleuths DI Andy
Horton (14) Scotland Yard detective, Inspector Alun Ryga (1) and
undercover investigator, Art Marvik (3).
Scrumptious homemade cake was an additional treat for crime author
Pauline Rowson after her talk to members of the Woodlands WI (New
Forest) about her crime novels and crime writing.
