Fatal Depths (4)

Marvik's about to face his biggest challenge - the truth behind the deaths of his parents in an underwater explosion.

Fatal Depths

When a woman is murdered off the Dorset coast Marvik discovers in her possesions a ripped out notebook with his late father's handwriting on it and a mysterious disk taped inside the back cover. Rather than turn it over to the police, he tucks it away in his London bank for safekeeping.

Then someone breaks into his safe deposit box and the only things taken are the notebook and its hidden contents.

Marvik has reason to believe the package contains information about his parents, who were killed in an underwater explosion during a Ministry of Defence mission near the Nordic coast. Marvik is certain the theft and murdered woman have something to do with his parents.

Then a bomb is planted in his home.

Puzzled and disturbed, Marvik is left cursing his reluctance to ask his former Royal Marine colleague, intelligence and cyber expert, Shaun Strathen, to open the disk and reveal its contents when he first discovered it in the possession of murdered marine archaeologist, Sarah Redburn.

Now its theft indicates that Sarah was killed because of its highly toxic contents.

Convinced it holds the key to the truth behind the deaths of his parents, Marvik, with Strathen’s aid, sets out to track down the thief.

But someone is out to kill.

And Marvik’s next.
