In Cold Daylight

Before fire-fighter Jack Bartholomew can reveal the cause of his own and his colleagues’ cancer he is murdered, leaving his friend, marine artist, Adam Greene following the trail into a labyrinth of lies, secrets and conspiracy at the highest level.

In Cold Daylight

Fire fighter Jack Bartholomew dies whilst trying to put out a fire in a derelict building. Was it an accident or arson?

His closest friend, marine artist Adam Greene, doesn't know, only that Jack has left him a cryptic written message and also confided in him shortly before his death that he was hot on the trail of  exposing a deadly and dangerous secret.

When Jack's house is ransacked on the day of the funeral, Adam feels compelled to take up Jack's quest.  Soon he is caught up in a mysterious and dangerous web of deceit and, as the facts reveal themselves, the prospects for his survival look bleak. For Adam though there is no turning back; he has to get to the truth no matter what the cost, even if it means his life.

"You will be sitting on the edge of your seat for the whole of this book and unable to put it down. As good as Goddard!  B. Hornby

"Another gripping read from Pauline Rowson, which captures the magic and mystery of the areas she writes about, plus characters of depth and a palpable air of menace and mystery. Don't start this book in the evening if you wish to sleep that night, as it is unputdownable and will keep you wanting to keep turning the pages right until the end!"  S.Snowden

"A great story with believable plot and characters, I look forward to more from this author."  Anne1

"Read the first page and you'll be glued to In Cold Daylight right up to its terrific climax on page 314. Pauline Rowson is a first class writer, whose marine mysteries take believable characters and situations and turn them into something very special indeed. " Amy Myers
